DISTRICT ADMINISTRATION TO IMPART FREE-OF-COST ONLINE COACHING FOR COMPETITIVE EXAMS UNDER GHAR-GHAR ROZGAR MISSION : DC GHANSHYAM THORI
Jalandhar, 22 August 2021 : District Administration is all set to provide free-of-cost online coaching to thousands of unemployed youths for the various competitive exams under Punjab Ghar Ghar Rozgar and Karobar Mission.
Deputy Commissioner Ghanshyam Thori stated that Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh led state government has decided to impart online training for several competitive exams ranging from SSC, Banks, PO/Clerical, RRB, CET, PPSC, PSSSB, and to other departmental exams to at least one lakh youths in coming days.
He stated that the first batch for online coaching for the post of police constable and clerical posts was expected to begin from the first week of September, 2021. The candidates must have completed their graduation for registering themselves for clerical batch while 12th passed aspirants could apply for the batch of police constable recruitment.
The DC further added that the aspirant candidates could apply for these classes by login the website https://www.eduzphere.com/freegovtexams to avail the benefit of free-of-cost preparation classes. He said that graduates of all streams can apply for these classes, adding that undergraduates may enroll themselves for the classes in case they are eligible for any central/state competitive exam.
Thori also mentioned that the coaching will be provided by a subject-specialist teacher who is capable of teaching in English, Hindi, and Punjabi as per the syllabus of the competitive exam. The coaching will be provided through an online platform which will be streamed live all over the state and candidates can access the lectures through desktops/laptops, and smartphones, he added.
The DC said that candidates can have access to live recorded lectures for revision for one year and eight months after the completion of their coaching adding that it will be a two-way attraction where students could raise their queries during live lectures through the chat window. Further, the candidates will be provided with content, videos, notes, and other study material followed by regular practice and mock tests.
Divulging more, he said that the duration of a batch will be of minimum four months and coaching would be conducted in two sessions of 1.30 hours six days a week. Besides, there will be weekly live sessions to clear the doubts of candidates and guidance from the experts, he said.
The DC said that this unique initiative was aimed at making our youths better prepared for the competitive exams so that they could fulfill their dreams by getting government jobs. He also mentioned that this step would increase employability of our unemployed youths by opening up new vistas of employment for them. He urged the eligible candidates to come forward and enroll themselves for these free-of-cost online classes to get best of the expertise in the field.
