CP REVIEWS SECURITY ARRANGEMENTS AT LUDHIANA COURT COMPLEX, DEPLOYS ADDITIONAL FORCE

SAYS, RANDOM CHECKING DRIVE TO ENSURE FOOLPROOF SECURITY MEASURES IN COMPLEX
Ludhiana, 02 January 2022 : With a view to ensure foolproof security measures at District Court Complex, Commissioner of Police Gurpreet Singh Bhullar today visited the Ludhiana court complex and reviewed the security arrangements here. The CP checked the functioning of CCTV cameras besides identifying points where surveillance needed to be further beefed up.
Divulging the details, Commissioner of Police Gurpreet Singh Bhullar said that the police would leave no stone unturned to ensure safety and security of those visiting the court complex as a slew of measures have already been taken in this direction. He also said that the security arrangements at all entry-exit points have been thoroughly checked while unauthorized entry into the complex was plugged with immediate effect.
Mr. Bhullar also mentioned that metal detectors have been placed at the entry points; force deployment was also increased here. The instructions to check the vehicles entering the parking lot thoroughly were already issued, he said, adding the requirement of additional metal detectors, if any, would also be met at the earliest. He stated that the random checking drives are also carried out here to review the safety and security arrangements of the court complex.
He further added that the police department was according top-priority to the security of the judicial complex as all requisite steps were already taken by the officials to cover all sensitive points with adequate security measures.
