CM announces to allot 11 Kanal land to Durga Mata Mandir management for construction of super specialty hospital

Pays obeisance at Durga Mata Mandir

Ludhiana, 16 December 2021 : Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Charanjit Singh Channi today announced to allot alternate piece of land to Durga Mata Mandir Management for construction of an ultra modren super speciality hospital.

The Chief Minister, who paid obeisance at the holy Durga Mata Mandir and sought blessings from Maa Durga to serve the state more zealously and diligently, said that Durga Mata Mandir management was doing real service of society by imparting quality health services to people in temple premises only. However, he said that this needs to be given more boost for which a hospital site of 11 Kanal equivalent to existing temple complex will be allotted by the state government. CM Channi also announced to shift Police station in vicinity of the temple to new place and allot it to temple.

The Chief Minister reached Mandir complex in the afternoon to offer prayers and sought blessings of almighty to give enormous strength to him for serving the people of state with all humility and dedication. CM Channi offered prayers to seek Mata Rani’s blessings to serve the people of the state regardless of caste, colour, creed and religion to create a harmonious society.

 

The Chief Minister said that the ethos of love, brotherhood and harmony in the society will be maintained at every cost and will ever remain their top priority. He thanked Mata Rani for bestowing upon him the responsibility to serve the people of Punjab with sincerity, dedication and commitment to fulfill their aspirations. CM Channi said that it was a gratifying experience for him to visit this holy shrine, which is a fountainhead of inspiration and positivity for millions of people from around the world.

The Chief Minister said he had come to this shrine to pray for the state, its peace and development, for which his government is fully committed. CM Channi said by the God’s grace he is leaving no stone unturned to come up to the expectations of people and top priority is being accorded by the government to implement pro-people and development oriented policies. On the occasion President of Temple Management Committee Mr Parshottam Mittal, Mr Sanjay Mahendru and Mr Sanjay Goyal honoured the Chief Minister with a chunri of Mata Rani.

Prominent amongst others present on the occasion included Deputy Chief Minister Mr Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, Cabinet Minister Mr Bharat Bhushan Ashu, Chairman Punjab Warehousing Corporation and MLA Mr Kuldeep Singh Vaid, MLA Mr Surinder Dawar, Mayor Mr Balkar Singh and others.
