Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud paid obeisance at Sri Darbar Sahib
Amritsar, 10 August 2024 : Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud visited today at sikh holy shrine Sri Amritsar Sahib and expressed his devotion. He also went to the Jallianwala Bagh and pays tribute to the martyrs who lost their lives in the massacre.
During his visit, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann welcomed him at Amritsar Airport and later on the Chief Justice was warmly received by SGPC president Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami. Advocate Dhami honors Justice Chandrachud with a golden Sri Harmandir Sahib model, siropa, and historical books, symbolizing deep respect and admiration
