CHAUDHARY REITERATES COMMITMENT OF PUNJAB GOVERNMENT TO ENSURE HOLISTIC DEVELOPMENT OF VILLAGES
Jalandhar, 10 December 2021 : MLA Kartarpur Chaudhary Surinder Singh said that the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Mr. Charanjit Singh Channi is committed for ensuring holistic development of the villages.
Addressing the gathering after dedicating the newly laid sewerage system in the Sheikhe village, the MLA said that no stone is being left unturned to ensure that major push is given to development of the villages.
He said that lot of funds are being pumped in to ensure that villages get ultra modern civic amenities on lines of the urban areas. Chaudhary Surinder Singh said that the main focus is to ensure that comprehensive development of the villages takes place. The MLA said that Punjab government is committed for the all-round development of the villages and well being of the every strata of society.
He said that due to strenuous efforts of the state government Punjab is witnessing unprecedented development in every nook and corner of the state. Chaudhary Surinder Singh categorically said that due to pro-people and development oriented policies of the state government, Punjab has today emerged as a frontrunner state in the country.
The MLA said that besides focusing on key areas of Health and Education, the state government has also laid due focus on other prominent areas like rural development, roads, power, welfare schemes and others. He said that concerted efforts have been made for channelizing the unbounded energy of the youth for weaning them away from the menace of drugs.
Chaudhary Surinder Singh expressed hope that Congress will once again form the government after the 2022 polls.
On the occasion Nambardar Mr. Kanwaldeep Singh, Sarpanch Mr. Ranjit Kumar, Mrs. Tirath Kaur, Mr. Roop Lal, Mr. Paramjit, Mr. Gora and others were also present.
