Charanjit Channi to be first Dalit CM of Punjab
Chandigarh, 19 September 2021 : Dalit face of party Charanjit Singh Channi has been appointed the new Chief Minister of Punjab as he was elected as new leader of Congress legislative party.
Announcement to this regard was made by General Secretary of Congress Harish Rawat through a tweet. He will be first Dalit CM in the state.
