Chander Grewal bats for strengthening communal harmony and brotherhood in state
Jalandhar, 28 December 2021 : Akali leader and candidate from Jalandhar Central assembly segment Chander Grewal today said that strengthening communal harmony and brotherhood in state is the need of hour for everyone of us should come forward.
Addressing a religious congregation Sai Mehfil at Old Railway road on Sunday evening, he said that Punjab can prosper only if all the religions join hands for making it a leading state. He said that for this every Punjabi should make joint efforts. He said that Shiromani Akali Dal is most secular party in the country which respects every religion.
He said that Akali Dal is votary of communal harmony and brotherhood in society which is a rare phenomenon in politics. He said that every religion is given due respect and representation in the party. He said that such a party is needed for comprehensive development of state and welfare of Punjabis.
Earlier organising committee including Guru Dutt Shingari, Mintu Shingari, Deepak Joshi, Bhupinder Talwar, Sanjeev Jain welcomed Grewal and honoured him.
