Apex Court Restricts Public Feeding of Stray Dogs
(Rajinder Kumar) NewDelhi, 22 August 2025: The Supreme Court has banned the feeding of stray dogs in public places such as roads and colonies. The court directed the Delhi civic body to set up designated feeding spots for the animals. Further the court stated that those found feeding stray dogs on streets would face legal action under the relevant framework.
