After Ardas to make Phagwara a district, Joginder Mann opens election office
Phagwara, 31 January 2022 : After performing Ardas to make Phagwara a district, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate Joginder Singh Mann today opened his election office here at Hargobind Nagar.
The Ardas to make Phagwara a district was performed after the path of Sri Sukhmani Sahib. “In the august presence of Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji I vow that I will dedicate my remaining life for making Phagwara a district” said Mann.
Mann, accompanied by hundreds of party leaders and workers from both urban and rural areas, said that I have dedicated more than 40 years of my life to the service of people of Phagwara. He said that as a representative of people of Phagwara it is my moral duty to ensure its comprehensive growth, progress of its people, jobs to youth, eradication of social menaces like drugs and others. But he said that he pledges in the divine presence of Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji that he will not rest until Phagwara is made a district.
He said that it is necessary to facilitate the people for getting their daily administrative works done. He bemoaned that residents have to travel around 70 kilometres to and fro to Kapurthala for getting their minor works done which is sheer wastage of their time, money and energy. He said that this has to go away for which Phagwara should have district status.
He said that he will not rest until this goal is achieved. He also thanked all the party leaders and workers who have came all the way for this event. He said that the countdown for elections has begun so it is his humble appeal to one and all to support the AAP and ensure all round development of Phagwara.
On the occasion AAP leaders Inderjit Khalyan, Krishan Kumar Hero, Sadhu Ram, Nirmal Singh, Harjinder singh virk, madam lalit, Tawinder ram, Harpal Singh, Rupinder kaur, Sonia janda, Manish janda, Harnek Singh Domeli, Gian Singh, Ashok Bhatia, Kulwinder Singh, Jatinder Singh Parhar, Naresh Sharma, Harmesh Pathak, Dharamvir Sethi and others assured Mann of fulsome support and cooperation for his win.
Later Mann accompanied by other leaders filed his nomination papers from the Phagwara assembly segment as AAP candidate.
