AAP gain ground as one Block Samiti member and 80 Congress families join party in Phagwara
Phagwara, 23 January 2022 : In a major shot in arm of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Phagwara as a Block Samiti Member of Congress and around 80 Congress families today joined the party in presence of former Minister Joginder Singh Mann.
In Manawali congress supporters including Block Samiti Member Sucha Ram Mauli, Charanjit Singh, Resham Singh, Kuldeep Chand, Balwinder Kumar, Paramjit, Rahi Kumar, Jaswinder Kumar, Teja Singh, Pawan Kumar Jeeta, Vivek Kumar, Sajjan Kumar, Hardeep Kumar Deepi, Darshan Ram, Hussan Bagga, Prem Kumar, Gurdeep Deepa, Harjinder, Rachpal Kumar, Balkar Singh and others joined the Aam Aadmi Party.
In the same manner at village Malikpur Congress workers and families including Dilbagh Singh, Shadi Ram, Palwinder Singh, Jassu, Bhupinder Singh, Pritam Singh, Puran Singh, Jasvir Singh, Satnam Singh, Ravinder Singh, Shervir Ghuman, Yodha, Yoga Singh, Pritam Singh , Simran Singh, Babla Bajwa, Happy Numberdar, Balbir Singh and others joined the AAP after saying good bye to Congress.
The Congress workers said that sitting MLA have never bothered about the workers due to which the Congress will be routed out from Phagwara. They said that AAP will form the government in the state after coming polls and will win the seat with a huge margin.
Welcoming the Congress workers to party fold, Joginder Singh Mann said that they will be suitably adjusted in the party fold. Profusely thanking all the workers and leaders he said that he is personally indebted to all of them for joining the party.
He said that the under the dynamic and visionary leadership of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Lok Sabha MP Bhagwant Mann, AAP is all set to form government in the state. He said AAP government is committed for overall development of the state and well being of its people on the lines of ‘Delhi Model’ of AAP government.
On the occasion Krishan Kumar Hero, Harnoor Singh Harji Mann and others were also present.
