AAP finalises four more candidates, Kali to contest from Jalandhar North
Chandigarh, 09 January 2022 : Newly joined AAP leader Dinesh Dhall Kali will contest election from Jalandhar North segment as party has finalised his name along with four other candidates.
Dinesh Kali will take on former Congress Minister Avtar Henry’s son and sitting MLA Bawa Henry from the predominantly Hindu urban seat. Kali was a protege of Henry and was considered very close to him until he parted the ways with his mentor and became instrumental in defeat of Congress stalwart in 2007 and 2012 assembly polls.
AAP has also finalised candidates from Moga and Bathinda Rural seats, added sources.
