High powered committee set by CM to deliberate on demands of agitating employees on July 1
Chandigarh, June 30, 2021: High level committee constituted by Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh will deliberate on demands of the agitating employees on July 1.
As per information the committee will have meeting on the issues of agitating employees in Punjab Bhawan Chandigarh at 3:30 pm. Pertinently, the committee was set up by the Chief Minister in wake of massive protest by employees against the pay commission introduced by the state government. The employees have been describing it as a retrogressive step aimed at harming their interests.
