Mohammed kalim to continue as member Punjab waqf board
Chandigarh, September 8 2021 : Renowned Muslim leader Mohammed Kalim Azaad will continue as member of Punjab Waqf Board.
Highly placed sources in Punjab government said Kalim a prominent Muslim face of the party has been reinstated as the member of the premier body. Kalim who was appointed member of the Board in 2017 had worked tirelessly for the well being of Muslim community. Apart from making stupendous efforts for welfare of the Muslim brethren Kalim had also been on forefront for recovering the properties of the board.
Likewise, he had also played a key role in enhancing the revenue of the board. As per rough estimates Kalim had enhanced the revenue of board around 10 times during his stint in the board. However, he was unceremoniously removed on an allegedly frivolous complaint. But now the government has again decided to put him back on saddle in the board.
