Punjab Government entrusts Deputy Director Manvinder Singh with Additional Responsibility

Jalandhar, 9 September 2024 : In a significant move, Manvinder Singh, Deputy Director of DIPR (Electronic Media) in Chandigarh, has assumed additional charge as Deputy Director of DIPR Jalandhar. With this new assignment, Singh will now be responsible for overseeing public relations efforts in both Chandigarh and Jalandhar.
This is not Singh’s first stint in Jalandhar, having previously served in the region from 2017-2020. During that time, he played a key role in organizing events for the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji and demonstrated exceptional leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic and floods in the region.
Singh’s expanded role is expected to bring greater synergy and coordination between the two offices, leveraging his expertise and experience to enhance the department’s outreach and engagement in Punjab. With his proven track record, Singh is well-equipped to handle this additional responsibility, and monday as his first day in charge in Jalandhar marked the beginning of a new era in the department’s operations.
