Kapurthala, June 3,2021:— Harkamal preet Singh Khakh is the new SSP of Kapurthala. He is the successor of IPS Kanwardeep Kaur, who is now the first SSP of Malerkotla. Earlier, Khakh served as Commandant, 7th Battalion, PAP and AIG Counter Intelligence, in Jalandhar Zone. He’s been awarded as Guard of Honor by a contingent of Punjab Police and was welcomed by senior police officials of the district.
While talking to a reporter he clatified that maintaining law and order, prevention of drugs and cracking down on drug traffickers as well as more serious service to the people in the fight against COVID would be his top priority. SP Jasbir Singh, SP Vishaljit Singh, DSPs Surinder Singh, Sarwan Singh, Sarabjit Rai and other senior officers were also present at the occasion.
