Warriors Win Thrilling Match Against Young Brigade
(Rajinder Kumar) Jalandhar, 16 November 2025: The Warriors NGO cricket team played a spirited match today against Young Brigade Club at Government Senior Secondary Boys School, Ladowali Road. District Sports Officer Gurpreet Singh Bajwaa graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and encouraged both teams for promoting sportsmanship and fitness.
Captain Chetan won the toss and elected to bat. The team got a solid start, led by a composed 51 from Davinder Saini, whose innings provided the foundation for the scoreboard. Vishal Chadha added a steady 32, helping Warriors post a total of 117.

The chase turned into a tight contest. Warriors bowlers showed discipline under pressure. Bobby Rattan claimed 4 crucial wickets, turning the match in their favour, while Vikas Sharma supported with 2 important breakthroughs. With collective effort, Warriors secured a narrow and well-fought 2 run victory.
